Benefits advice - Bereavement benefits

There are three types of Bereavement Benefit. These may be payable on the death of a husband, wife or a civil partner. Entitlement to these benefits will depend on the National Insurance contributions your spouse or partner paid.


Widowed Parent's Allowance

This is a weekly benefit paid if you are widowed and have a child or qualifying young person
