If you know of anybody who may be wrongfully claiming housing benefit or council tax benefit, please contact us. You do not have to leave your name or address, we will investigate any information you provide.
Ideally we need information about who the person is, how and when you think they are breaking the rules of claiming benefit e.g. leaves house three mornings a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) at around the same time and doesn't return all day. You therefore presume they are going to work. The more information you give us the more likely we are to make their case a priority investigation.
Housing benefit is funded by the Government and comes out of every taxpayers pocket. It is you they are defrauding not just the system and fraud is estimated to cost every home £80 a year.
