The bulky waste collection service can help you dispose of large household items that can't be disposed of through domestic waste collections. This service is only available to residential households of Southampton and is not for businesses to use. Bulky items, such as trampolines must be dismantled before collection.
We are currently receiving large numbers of bookings for mattresses and sofas and we are having to use alternative disposal methods such as landfill. Before booking a bulky waste collection for items that are in good condition please see if the item can be reused by contacting a local charity or recycling website.
The bulky collection service charge depends upon the size of the items to be collected. The charges are shown below. Each bulky collection can have up to 10 items collected.
