Details of service:

Vehicle Crossings (Dropped Kerbs) are needed when you want to cross the pavement in a car or other vehicle. They are designed to protect the kerb stones that would otherwise suffer from crumbling and breaking. It is not lawful to cross a pavement without having a dropped kerb installed.

You will not need planning permission unless the road is a classified road or there is another reson that may prevent you from having one installed without permission, like conditions on a previous planning consent.

Please contact Action Line for further information who will be able to explain in detail what you need to do next.
