The authorities are producing a series of new documents over the forthcoming years. Information on the programme is outlined in part two of the Southampton Local Development Scheme (LDS).

Minerals and Waste (M and W) Core Strategy Submission to Government
The 'core' strategy for the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Development Framework sets out the vision, objectives and spatial development strategy for the planning and management of minerals and waste in Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth and the New Forest. A minerals site plan and waste sites plan are being prepared. The minerals sites plan is at the "preferred options" stage. The Waste sites plan is at the "issues and options " stage. The core strategy was resolved to be adopted in July 2007
