Regional- The South East Plan- The document was submitted to the Government in March 2006. The South East Plan is the Regional Spatial Strategy and forms part of the Local Development Framework for Southampton. The public examination is expected later this year, details of which are available below. SOUTH EAST PLAN- PRELIMINARY LIST OF MATTERS AND PARTICIPANTS- The Secretary of State has appointed an independent Panel to conduct an Examination in Public of the Submission Draft of the Regional Spatial Strategy for the South East (also known as the Draft South East Plan). The Panel consists of Corinne Swain, OBE, MA(Cantab), MPhil, FRTPI as independent Chair, and Martin Shaw OBE, BA, DipTP, FRTPI, FIHT, FRSA and Mary Travers BA(Hons), DipTP, MRTPI, Members of the Planning Inspectorate. The Examination will commence on Tuesday 28 November 2006 at 10.00am at the H G Wells Centre, Woking. The Panel will report its findings and recommendations to the Secretary of State.
