Southampton City Council- Local Development Scheme (LDS) First Revision
As part of the production of the Local Development Framework prescribed by the 2004 Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act, the City Council has to prepare a Local Development Scheme (LDS). This document outlines our three-year rolling programme for the production of planning policy documents, including statutory development plans (Local Development Documents). The initial LDS was approved by the Secretary of State in April 2005, the document has subsequently been revised. The First Review of the LDS has been approved by Council and submitted to the Government. The document is available in the related document section.
The LDS is currently being revised and will be available by March 2009.
