Southampton City Christmas Ice Rink
As part of Southampton City Council’s commitment to healthy living and a desire to provide suitable leisure facilities to families over the Christmas period, it has been decided to provide a high quality temporary external ice skating rink in the forecourt of the Civic Centre. It is hoped that this facility will increase the levels of physical activity among the school age population and, more generally, local communities. Given the increased public awareness of ice skating as a form of exercise, it is also hoped that the rink will attract greater numbers of visitors to the city over this period.
The planning documents on the right hand side have been enhanced with measuring tools that can be used in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
