Outside Sponsorship - Gateways
Do you want to achieve more with your marketing budget?
Through 2007/8 we are developing the gateways to our city. We are creating high profile entrances to the city with prominent and iconic structures at key routes into the city which offer the highest traffic flow. We are also replacing all of the other welcome/boundary signs into the city.
At the three key routes we will construct welcoming gateways which will represent the history of Southampton while being presented in a modern and contemporary style.
More than a branding exercise!
Our mission is to raise the profile of our city. Southampton is the largest city on the South coast, it is a major city in the UK and Europe. We have so much to offer our residents, businesses and visitors. The first and most important message from any business is create a good impression.
By way of utilizing advertising revenue from national companies and partnership with local businesses we will construct these new welcome points that will provide a sense of pride, joy and a wow factor as people enter the city.

To continue investment into the cities image and create stronger relationships with the business community we wish to offer sponsorship opportunities to local businesses. Investment can start at £5000 per year with larger, long term arrangements required for the 3 designated key gateways.
