What we spend each year
The Council spends over £200 million on goods and services each year, including:

| Environment and Transport | £22 million; |
| Leisure, Culture and Tourism | £18 million; |
| Corporate Services | £6 million; |
| Communities and Regeneration | £5 million; |
| Repairs and Maintenance | £3 million; |
| Housing and Homes | £2 million. |
The Council's procurement activities enable services to be provided in an efficient, cost effective and sustainable way and assist the Council to meet its corporate objectives.
