Southampton Civic Award

Southampton has its own Civic Award scheme that works similar to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This is aimed at 10-11yr old kids. To get the award you must do 12 hours public work over a 6 month period for your school and local community. Some of the work you do as a Junior Warden would go towards this. You must do two hobbies (one physical and one non-physical) one must be a new hobby.
The final bit you need to do is a 24 hour expedition or camp. You could do this through your school or on your own with your parents.
