Action plan orders for juveniles
The courts sometimes issue these orders to young people. The Wessex youth offending team sometimes works with a young offender with a compulsory supervision order. These pages contain further information.

Final warning for young offenders
Young offenders can be given a final warning by police before they are taken to court for alleged offences. We then assess the young person's situation and offer them advice.

Referral orders
After a young offender has been found guilty of a crime, the community where they live may be asked to help decide on a 'contract of supervision' to enable that young person to get back on track. We will then supervise the completion of the contract.
Reparation orders
Some young people have to make amends to the victim of their crime. They have to demonstrate that they are sorry for their actions in some way. A reparation order commits the young offender to do this.
Supervision orders
The Wessex Youth Offending Team work with young people convicted of a criminal offence. Our role is to enable these young people to become valued members of the community.
