Southampton's scheme for financing schools explains the powers and responsibilities of governors and the local authority. The document also tells you the constraints in which this money can be spent.
Section 52 statements
We are required to prepare a budget statement before the beginning of each financial year (under section 52 of the Schools Standards and Framework Act 1998). After the end of that financial year we are required to prepare an outturn statement.
