Nursery and pre-school funding

This page gives information for pre-schools and nurseries who are classified as private or voluntary and who claim Nursery Education Funding from Southampton City Council. They are also relevant to childminders who are claiming funding.

We currently fund pre-school education for 3-year old and 4-year old children at the rate of £3.51 per hour.

Parental Declaration Form
A copy of this form must be submitted for any children for whom funding is starting to be claimed at a setting. Download it by clicking the link on the right.
