Details of service:

Good food, good service, good value

As a part of the Authority's Education Service, we offer a range of quality services to schools. We work closely with the Headteachers of Southampton's schools to deliver better value to our pupils. We are committed to achieving the highest standards of food. We do this through our caring and professional kitchen staff.

We offer a full three-week menu to our Primary and Special Schools, which fully complies with the Governments new School Food Standards.

In our Secondary Schools, our customers enjoy a choice of menu, which reflects modern eating trends, and allows them to choose a balanced, healthy diet, at an affordable price.

If your child does not already take school lunches why not give them a try? At a current cost of £1.70 a day in primary schools and £1.80 a day in secondary schools, they offer excellent value for a nutritional, balanced meal.

The menus represent the standard choices available to your child. Some schools may offer alternatives to meet the Ethnic, Religious or Special needs of their pupils.
