Sustainable Schools

Sustainable Schools help young people to improve their community and the area in which they live. A sustainable school saves money and improves the health and fitness of pupils. It can also add to local social and environmental goals.

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has a Sustainable Schools strategy. The strategy gives children the skills they need to lead sustainable lives.
