Children and health
These pages provide info about health related services for children and young people. We offer a range of services to children and young people with health problems.
Information for pregnant young women
If you are expecting a baby you will have support from a midwife, who will talk to you about what to expect and what your choices are for the birth. Click on the link on the right hand of this page if you need to register with a GP. You may want to attend antenatal (parenting) classes; you can get information about these sessions from your local health centre or Children’s Centre. After your baby is born a midwife and a health visitor will check you and the baby and will help you with any health problems or concerns.
