Gateway accessibility and facilities

Gateway is designed to be fully accessible to all

  • A ground floor location
  • Larger, lower accessible self-serve terminals and telephone stations
  • 9 dedicated blue badge parking bays in the Civic Centre forecourt
  • Hearing loops at all appointment desks
  • An accessible toilet/baby changing area
  • Hearing loop, British sign language, interpreters/translators (please inform us in advance if you require a translator so we can book this service for you)

Gateway also features:

  • Floorwalkers - to greet you on entry and offer assistance as required
  • Telephones - to allow you to contact relevant council services and third parties
  • Cash Office - to make payment for things like council tax and parking fines

To avoid coming to Gateway, many payments can now be made online. Your card must be registered for 3D Secure for the payment to be successful.
