Southampton City Council conducted a tandem public consultation, to seek views on both:
- Proposed changes to housing policies affecting the decommissioning of properties of tenants and leaseholders in our properties citywide (decommissioning is when the council makes a decision to remodel, redevelop or dispose of a property which would mean the tenants are required to move out of their current residence) and;
- Proposed regeneration of Townhill Park, which will entail decommissioning the remaining properties in the Townhill Park Regeneration Scheme.
The deadline for submitting your feedback was Sunday 1 October 2017.
The feedback from both consultations will be presented to Cabinet in November 2017, who will take this into account when deciding whether or not to change the policies, and whether or not to go ahead with the further regeneration of Townhill Park.
