Health and Wellbeing Board

The Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) is a statutory partnership. The board meets every other month to consider the delivery of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy, Better Care and to have an oversight of any proposed significant changes and their impact on the health system in Southampton.

In 2016 the Health and Wellbeing Board committed to improving mental health for all in the city. They backed the bid for Southampton to become Time To Change Champions, supported the OSMC enquiry into how to make Southampton a Dementia Friendly city and are proud to sign off the new CAMHS transformation plan to improve the delivery of mental health services in the city for young people.
