The results of the 2011 off street parking customer satisfaction survey are available below. The survey took place between August and September.
372 customers took part in the survey and the headline results are that:
45% of customers parked to go shopping
62% of customers chose the car park because it was nearest to where they were going
64% of customers used other car parks (to the one they answered questions about)
56% of customers who chose more than one car park to park in, chose other car parks run by Southampton City Council
34% stayed in the car park for one to two hours
