Health and Wellbeing Strategy

The health and wellbeing strategy provides a bridge between plans produced by the local health and social care system and other plans developed elsewhere that impact on the City's health and wellbeing.

The Southampton Health & Wellbeing Partnership has produced this strategic plan for the city’s health and wellbeing covering the period 2009-12 in order to address a number of local priorities for action that were identified in the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment. The strategy reflects the Government's proposals in the 'Independence, Wellbeing and Choice' Green Paper and the 'Choosing Health' White Paper.
