Federation of Small Businesses
The FSB can give current advice and support to businesses during the recession. The 'fighting the downturn' pages offer support and give details of the current projects they are undertaking. There is an online subscription service to which businesses can sign up to and receive advice on legal matters and information and guidance. (web link below)

Redundancy support at Eastleigh College

Revenue and Customs
Advice and current guidelines on tax and redundancy payments. Can also help with PAYE and setting up new employees, pensions, benefits and VAT. (web link below)
SEEDA – Continued Employment Support Service (CESS)
A service offered jointly by South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) and Jobcentre Plus offering support to employers in the South East affected by redundancy. Small businesses have now been included in the package of support.
