This section explains the opportunities and help available to you as local businesses and employers to develop and up-skill your existing workforce. There are many resources available to advise, train and develop your staff which can lead to greater productivity and effectiveness within the workplace.

Wheatsheaf Trust - diversity training days
The Wheatsheaf Trust in Southampton hold various Multi-Cultural Awareness days and events designed to familiarise employers with the issues and benefits of recruiting from minority ethnic and cultural groups.

Business Link
A free source of business advice and support available online and through local advisers. The services are available whether you are starting up, already running a business, or looking to grow and develop. The website (link at the bottom of this page) also has interactive tools.
