City Limits go overseas in search of new ideas

We have been given £21,000 by the Leonardo da Vinci programme. This will allow some of our staff to go and work in other European countries.

Those going will be able to learn new skills and ways of working to bring back to their job in the UK.
Our first group of staff will go in August 2007 and will visit other employment support services, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and local councils, mainly in Spain and Italy.

Lydia Wilton, the operational manager of City Limits, says "This will be a great chance for us to get new ideas to use when supporting local people. It will also help our professional development and help raise the international profile of City Limits and Southampton."
