The council's Actionline can now be reached with a new text service on 07797-877002.

You can use text-messaging to report a street light out, a pot hole, a lost bin, a missed rubbish collection, or any other enquiry dealt with by Actionline using the new text number.

All you need to do is give us the details of the problem, the exact location and for unlit streetlights, the column number. The enquiry will then be sent to Actionline who will record the information and arrange for the enquiry to be dealt with.

An Actionline customer services representative can still be contacted on 0800 5 19 19 19.
