Green, Clean and Safe!

What Does the Team Do?

The Team's responsibilties include:

• Keeping the city clean and safe> - Carrying out a wide range of cleansing activities and tackling enviro-crime.

• Grounds maintenance> - Helping to make Southampton a "Green City", including; landscaping, shrub maintenance and cutting the grass

• Parks and green spaces> - Looking after the Green Flag award winning parks and other green open spaces across the city

• Allotments> - Managing the 23 sites citywide

• Hawthorn Urban Wildlife Centre> - Located on the Common giving advice about all things wild

• Trees> - Maintaining city owned trees and advising on all tree matters
