Information for businesses about commercial waste services offered by Southampton City Council.Tidy Business Awards
Tidy Business Awards are given to businesses who dispose of their waste responsibly and keep their environment clean and tidy. Three levels of awards are available, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Applications for the awards should be made to the council who will assess the business according to the award criteria.
Skips
The Council can provide skips for commercial and industrial customers (subject to conditions being met).
Commercial waste - trade bins
The council provides an effective, responsible commercial waste service to help businesses meet their responsibilities for waste disposal
Commercial waste - spillage
Southampton City Council does not provide a clean up service for any commercial waste spillage. If you have a spillage problem, please contact a private spillage clean up service.

Commercial waste - clinical waste
The City Councils Clinical Waste Collection Service collects clinical and sanitary product waste from local commercial business customers such as doctors, dentist and vetinary surgeries. This page gives you more information about this service.
