Recycle at Rubbish Revived - Endle Street, Chapel, Southampton Household Waste Recycling Centre

Already one of the greenest cities in the south, Southampton City Council is determined to continue boosting recycling rates and make it even easier for residents to go green.

We have recently reopened the newly refurbished Household Waste Recycling Centre at Endle Street. The centre was renamed Recycle at Rubbish Revived by Southampton resident Robert Josey, who won our recent renaming competition.

The new layout of Recycle at Rubbish Revived means the facility is now more accessible, easier to use, and provides more information on exactly how your waste is recycled.

A charity corner has also been included for the recycling of foil, plastic bottle tops, shoes and books.

The opening ceremony on 25 March 2008 was attended by a representative of Southampton City Youth Parliament, council dignitaries and Mr Josey himself, who donated his prize - a water butt and home composter to the Coxford and District Youth Project.

So come down and get on board. Help us continue to boost our credentials of having some of the best recyclers in the south!.
