Parking Penalty Charge Notice

If you have received a Parking Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) from Southampton City Council you can pay for it online.

To use the online payment service you will need to enter the PCN ticket number and the vehicle registration number. It may take up to one working day for your details to appear in this system.

If a warrant has been issued and the case passed to bailiffs you will not be able to pay on line.

Council Tax and Business Rates (NNDR)

You can pay your council tax bill or, if you are a local business, your business rates bill using the online service. Please ensure you have your most recent bill with you when you use the online payment service.

Housing rents

If you are a council tenant, you can pay your rent online using this service.

If you have received an invoice from us you can pay it online (see the list below). Please make sure you have the invoice with you when you make the payment as you will need to enter the invoice reference number and other details from the form.

Other Payments Using Credit or Debit Cards

Please note if you choose to pay by credit card then a 2.5% surcharge may be added to the transaction.

For those invoices or accounts which are not part of the automated payments service you can still make a payment using your credit or debit card. Simply ring the Cash Office and a member of staff will take the necessary details in order to process your payment.

The cash office in Gateway is open:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Wednesday 9.30am - 4.30pm
Friday 8.30am - 4pm
