Residential care Pharmacist Dentist

This section of Southampton online provides information about adult social care, formerly known as social services. If you need information about childrens' social care please see our children and learning pages. General health services, such as doctors and dentists, are provided by the Southampton City Primary Care Trust (SCPCT) and the National Health Service (NHS). For more information, or to find services close to you, please use the links on the right. You can also find more information on our looking after yourself pages.

Southampton City Council provides a range of services for adults with long and short term health and care needs. We work closely with the primary care trust, the NHS and voluntary organisations to make sure that you have access to the services that you need to live as independently as possible. We also offer advice and support to carers and relatives of people receiving, or in need of, our services.

If you are having trouble reading these pages please read our accessibilty information. You can also see a text only version of this website or use the speaking pages service. Both of these can be accessed from the links at the very top of the page.
