Introductory council tenancies
All new tenants of the council start as 'Introductory Tenancies'. After 12 months, provided that there are no problems or rent arrears, the tenancy converts to a ‘Secure Tenancy’.
Who can use this service:
New council tenants will automatically get an introductory tenancy.
Ways To Apply:
You first need to apply to be on the council list before you can become a tenant. Please contact your Local Housing Office or Gateway for further information.
