Change of tenancy name
When there is a need to change the name of the tenancy holder, the council can help guide you through this process and put the change in place. This includes assigning your tenancy to another person and succession in the event of the death of the tenancy holder. Normally a tenancy will automatically be passed to a permanent partner in the event of their death.
Who can use this service:
The service is available to tenants and needs reviewing on an individual basis.
