Action Line

Emergency or out of hours repairs to council homes

When should I use the emergency repair line?

An emergency repair is if there is a health and/or safety risk to you or anyone else in your home. Examples are fire damage, burst pipes, lift breakdown, no electricity, unable to open door entry system and a wall or chimney is leaning dangerously.
When reporting an emergency repair you will need to explain the extent of the problem and explain why it cannot wait until normal working hours. A tradesperson will be with you as soon as they can be.

Repairline for emergencies call 0800 5 19 19 19.

If you suspect a gas leak please ring 0800 111 999.
