Tenants' Sounding Board
The Tenants' Sounding Board consists of residents living in areas managed by the Housing Service who have indicated an interest in being involved in shaping the housing service in some capacity, through a variety of tenant involvement and feedback mechanisms.
The Sounding Board will include all existing tenants' groups such as Tenant Associations, The Tenants Federation (FOSTARA), Sheltered Housing Forum and Block/Street Reps.
But you do not need to be part of a tenants' group to get involved. Anyone can join the Tenants' Sounding Board (TSB). By joining the TSB we keep you up-to-date on council events, where you can be better informed and help influence the service we provide.
We are particularly keen to hear from tenants from areas where a Tenants Association or Block/Street Reps do not exist, and from under-represented groups such as ethnic minorities and young families and people on the councils housing waiting list.
There is a range of opportunities for tenant involvement, which include:
• Tenant Associations
• Block and Street Reps
• Central Forum
• Block Rep Forum
• Sheltered Housing Forum
• Phone Panel
• Email Panel
• Focus/Policy Groups
• Tenants Link Editorial Board
• Reading Group
• Tenants requesting information only
• Tenants Federation
• Capital Resources Group
• Tenant and Leaseholder Involvement Group
