Details of service:
We are keen to ensure that tenants are given the opportunity to be well informed in tenant participation and in the wider housing issues that affect your home and environment.
The Tenant Participation Unit provides a variety of training courses which aims to give you the information and skills you need to get the most out of being a tenant representative. The training tries to be both informative and fun and is undertaken in an informal relaxed environment.
There are a wide range of training courses provided by a number of trainers. However we are always happy to consider introducing new courses if you feel this would be useful to you or your tenants group. Just contact the Tenant Participation Unit and let us know what training you have in mind.
All training events for tenants are covered by childcare and travel expenses which are paid in line with current expenses guidelines.
