Housing strategy for learning disability

The members of the Southampton Learning Disability Partnership Board want to make sure that people can choose where they live. They are talking about how they can help people to choose how they want to live.

People do not need a special house just because they have a learning disability. The Partnership Board is looking at making sure people can choose what kind of house they want.

The Partnership Board is developing a plan. This is called a housing and support options strategy. It says:

- What we need to do to make sure people have choice?

- When and how we are going to do it?
