Housing Associations and co-operatives

Also known as registered social landlords (RSLs) housing associations are organisations registered and approved by the Housing Corporation to provide social housing for rent and low cost ownership. Applicants need to be on the council's Housing Register (also known as Homebid) and Southampton Low Cost Homeownership Register - Homes in Hants.

Financial Assistance to Housing Associations

(Also known as Social Housing Grant) This is a Capital grant provided by the Housing Corporation and Southampton City Council to fund Registered Social Landlords to develop social housing.
