The Tenant Engagement Team have organised a number of FREE training sessions running over the next few months. If you would like to attend a course please complete the online form.

March 2020

Facebook for beginners 
Facebook is a great way to keep in contact with friends, family and lots more. This course teaches you the basics of Facebook as well as helping to minimise some of the risks of social media

How the Council is run
The council is a big organisation, responsible for lots of aspects within the city, from education to housing, planning to highways and lots more besides. Come to this training session to find out how it keeps the city running and how decisions are made. Session will take place in the Civic Centre.

Getting started with emails (2 week course)
Need to send an email but not sure how? No problem. At the end of these sessions you will be emailing like a pro!

Getting involved in Procurement
When we need to get contractors to do work on the Council’s behalf – how do we ensure we get the best? This course explains the process with some ideas about you can get involved.

Finding your way around the Council website
In this session we will show you where to find all that useful information on the council website, including how to report a repair, read Tenants' Link and lots more beside

This session will teach you new skills and show you how to fix those tricky DIY jobs around the house.
