What are they?

You’ll gain a nationally recognised qualification and earn a salary whilst doing it – best of all the training costs for apprenticeships are fully funded by the employer and the government.

Who are they for?

Apprenticeships start at 16 years old with no upper age limit, so whether you're starting out in your first job, already in a job and want to gain professional qualifications, thinking about re-training into a different career, or returning to work an apprenticeship could be for you.

What can I study?

Whether you’re just starting out, or continuing your professional journey with a degree apprenticeship, there are over 340 different apprenticeships available, with more being developed all the time. Levels of study range from:

What will I gain?

Apprenticeships are real jobs with real responsibilities, you’ll be earning a salary and studying towards a qualification. You will also benefit from:

  • Gaining transferable work-based skills and experience
  • Support and guidance from a dedicated line manager, workplace mentor and training assessor
  • A career path with the potential to continue learning and development to the next level
