Applying for a school place

Applications for a school place starting in September 2012 have now closed.

If you wish to apply for a school place for September 2012, or for a school place to start before September 2012, you cannot apply online.

You need to contact the Admissions Team using the details at the end of this page, and they will discuss the process with you, and send you the relevant paperwork to fill in.

When will I know if my child has a place?

If you made your school place application online, you will be able to log in to the system to check your application using the link in the box at the top right of this page.

Please note that you cannot visit the Admissions Team in person. Please contact them using either the telephone number or email address at the end of this page.

Admissions policies and useful information

Most Southampton schools follow the Local Authority's (LA) Admissions policy, but some schools follow their own admissions policy and you must apply to the school for a place. For more information please see the following pages:
