Engineering
This diploma will introduce your child to different options and skills across the engineering sector, including engineering design, engineering applications of computers, producing engineering solutions and innovation in engineering.

Hair and Beauty
This diploma will let your child experience all six industries linked to this sector:- hairdressing, barbering, spa therapy, African-type hairdressing and nail services. It is a hands-on course giving your child in-depth knowledge of the industry and how a typical business is run, as well as the practical skills required. It will help your child understand the latest developments in technology and explore the growing public demand for improved personal appearance and well being.

Information Technology
The diploma will teach your child about the technology used in organisations such as multimedia, communications ICT, networking and databases.

Society, Health and Development
The diploma is a hands on practical course using your child's skills and knowledge and applying these to the world of work. It will prepare them for further study, or training, in a career that involves working with children, the health industry, community justice or social care. Your child will meet professionals in the industry and be presented with the real life issues they face.

Sports and Active Leisure
The diploma is a hands on course giving your child an in-depth knowledge of the different industries within the sector. There is an opportunity to develop practical skills as well as learn how different sport and active leisure businesses are run. It is a growing industry that strives to meet the government target of 50% of the nation becoming active and healthy by 2020. There should be job opportunities for those with good practical, problem solving and team working skills.
