Special Educational Needs

We support children and families who live in Southampton. We can only help those with special educational needs. We also help schools support these children.

We work to:

• develop and manage the assessment process

• produce statements and keep them up to date

• help schools, children and families to find the right placement for the child

• plan future provision

• manage our resources for all children and young people with statements

• help young people access transport

• help with out-city school placements

• help younger children get early years provision.
