Bandstand Events: Various Dates

Southampton's Bandstand is situated in Palmerston Park in the heart of the city.
Some dates for your diary:
July
12 July: Ejector Seat Festival
Free event from 3.00pm until 7.00pm featuring some of the best up and coming bands along the South Coast
13 July: Tiger Tim and his Ragamuffins
Check out Tiger Time and his Ragamuffins from 2.00pm – 4.00pm
27 July: Big Splash Choir - making a noise about water
The Big Splash Choir will be performing on the Bandstand from 2.00pm until 4.00pm in the Sing for Water concert to raise funds for Water Aid.
This group of local singers in Southampton have come together to make a difference this summer . It is open to anyone who wishes to take part, whether or not they can read music or have sung in a choir before. August
3 August: Louche Manouche
Experience some jazz and gypsy swing from 2.00pm until 4.00pm with Louche Manouche.
10 August: Chris Walker
Live music from one of the South’s best known jazz musicians.
16 August: Ejector Seat Festival
Free event from 3.00pm until 7.00pm featuring some of the best up and coming bands along the South Coast
17 August: Salisbury Big Band
The band will be performing on the Bandstand from 2.00pm until 4.00pm
24 August: Dixie 5
Dixie 5 will be performing live in Palmerston Park from 2.00pm until 4.00pm
31 August: City of Southampton (Albion) Band
For nearly 100 years, the City of Southampton (Albion) Band ha been delighting local audiences. Here is your chance to see them from 2.00pm until 4.00pm

Palmerston Park is located within easy reach of the city centre and has good links with public transport. If you are using Sat Nav, the post code for this area is SO14 1LL and it is advisable to use city centre car parks.
