The pedestrianised area by the Bargate Monument is the home to many popular markets.
Friday Markets
The regular Friday markets have over 50 attractive, continental type stalls. Some of the delights on offer include: high quality fruit and veg, a local butcher, bakery and cake stall, Polish organic foods, Mediterranean olives, European cheeses, Fairtrade items, old fashioned confectionery and home-made New Forest sausages. Open 9am till 5pm
Art and Design Markets
1st Saturday at the Bargate Monument every month between 10am - 4.30pm.
A wide range of original art work, design-led craft, new designers and vintage. An opportunity to purchase direct from the artists/makers.

Producers and Growers (Prodgrow) Markets
Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at the Bargate Monument between 10am - 4.30pm.
A wide range of produce from independent suppliers, growers, small farmers and entrepreneurial producers giving Southampton shoppers an opportunity to purchase a range of quality food, drink and plants at prices to suit all pockets.

A whole range of stalls every 3rd Saturday of the month at the Bargate between 10am - 4.30pm.

World Market
The Market with stalls from all corners of the world will take place throughout the year on every Sunday of the month at the Bargate Monument between 10am - 4pm.
