'Gamercize' Machine |
Chamberlayne Leisure Centre has a 'gamercize' machine on site. The concept of the machine is to encourage children to exercise whilst playing on an XBox machine by pedalling or stepping! The machine is free of charge for children to use if accompanied by an adult. For more details please call reception on 023 8043 7668.
New aerobics timetable
The long awaited new aerobics timetable is being launched shortly. There are are many new classes to try including G-Cycle. For more information please pick up a copy of the new timetable from reception.
Quest achievements
Chamberlayne leisure centre has recently been assessed by Quest the national quality award scheme for leisure centres in the UK and Ireland. Quest assesses many management areas including cleanliness, health and safety, marketing, continuous improvement and management style. Chamberlayne was successful in achieving 86 per cent which falls into the 'excellent' category. This is a great achievement for the centre.
