Swim tots:
A great way to get your child off to a swimming start. Designed for children aged three to five years, this course is ideal for gaining confidence and learning how to have fun in the water. With a maximum of six children per class, and an instructor who stays in the water throughout, you can be assured that your child can learn to swim in a safe environment. These lessons run alongside the school term and can be booked with reception 023 8074 1414.

Adult & Child:
Swimming lessons for children aged three months to three years. Guided by the swimming instructor, parents give their children early water skills. The children are stimulated through the use of pool toys and equipment as well as through games, play and songs.

Oaklands Pool Go Swim:
Oaklands offers the opportunity to qualify in various water disciplines as part of the new ‘Go Swim’ initiative. Train to be a lifeguard or a swimming teacher with these nationally recognised qualifications. We also run courses in synchronised swimming as well as water polo if you fancy something different. Lessons:
Oaklands have a huge variety of lessons and coaching available. This wide range enables people of all ages and abilities to progress right through from beginner level, up to a competitive level. Classes are held in groups so that you can gain confidence from those around you, with the option of one to one lessons for really pinpointing and improving your technique.

Oaklands junior swimming lessons:
These lessons are available for children of school age. Lessons take place at various times after school, or at the weekend to make sure your child has every opportunity to take part. The lessons run alongside the school term and are taught by qualified ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) instructors. Oaklands swimming pool follows the ASA National Plan for teachers which teaches through 12 different levels. Beginners join at level one and progress to level 12 which focuses on technique, with potential to progress to a competitive level.
