How you can get involved
No single organisation can achieve everything that is required to safeguard the city's special biodiversity. Everyone has a part to play in his or her professional and private lives. Local people can help in a range of ways, such as volunteering to take part in practical conservation or gathering biological records that can contribute to the national and local biodiversity plans. Even simple actions such as feeding garden birds or joining local wildlife societies such as the Hampshire Wildlife Trust can help.Last updated: 29 October 2007
