Computer and Internet use in the library

Log on for free to library computers

Use your library card and PIN to log on. You can use the computers for 2 hours per day. You can email, study, research, surf the net with broadband, download, learn, print and save. We can offer help to get you started.

Computer use is free, with a small charge for printing and free printouts for children doing homework. At Central and Bitterne libraries you can book a computer in advance using the in-library booking system.

Print charges: 10p A4 black and white; 20p A4 colour

Visitors to the City staying less than 3 weeks can apply for a temporary internet card. You will be asked for proof of name. If you are staying in the City more than 3 week ask for a temporary library card. You will be asked for proof of name and address.
