Home library service

Are you or someone you know unable to get to their local library?

Perhaps you have to rely on family or friends to bring you to the library?

Southampton libraries offer a library delivery service for people who enjoy reading but are unable to visit their local library.

How does it work?

We will pair you with a volunteer who lives in your area. After introductions, the volunteer will visit you monthly to collect and deliver your books.

You will be given a special library card which the volunteer will use on your behalf. Requests for a particular book can also be made.

There is no charge for this service.

If you think you could benefit please contact Kasia Kopec.
